"If my electric trips". If your electric trips and you loose all or part of your power, sometimes it will be your RCD (Trip switch) "tripped" (Turned OFF)
TRY THIS FIRST!
Push the RCD trip switch back up. If it stays up good, it may have been a lamp "blowing"
IF IT TRIPS OFF AGAIN!
Go round the sockets and UNPLUG everything and switch off ALL YOUR switches!
Switch up your RCD again, If it Trips call an electrician!
If it stays up, Go round all your appliances and plug them back in.
If it trips, when you plug in a certain appliance. then it is highly likely that, that appliance is FAULTY! leave it out and plug the rest of your appliances back in.
If it trips no matter what appliance is plugged in or which switch is turned on. Call an electrician!
Hopefully this will help and if you manage to sort the problem yourself, then you have saved yourself money.
